Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man who is wanted in connection with an arson attack in Reading.
Leigh Peppiatt, aged 34, from Reading, is wanted in connection with an incident in Mill Lane, Reading, on Tuesday (29/1) where a vehicle was set on fire outside a property.
Peppiatt is described as a white male, medium build, around 5ft 6ins to 5ft 7ins tall with blue eyes, short fair hair and he speaks with a Reading accent.
He is known to frequent the Southcote and Whitley areas of Reading and also Swindon.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Andrew Clark, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody that knows of Peppiatt’s whereabouts to call the 24-hour police enquiry centre 101, quoting reference number 43190029865.
“If you see him, do not approach him, but call 999 immediately.”
