Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a GBH which occurred in Reading.
The incident took place on Thursday (1/11) at the St Ronan’s Road junction with Waverley Road at about 8.15pm.
The victim, an 18-year-old man, was walking his dogs when he was assaulted by a group of young males.
He was stabbed a number of times in the legs and torso, and the offenders then fled in the direction of Grovelands Road.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries which were not life-threatening or life-changing. He remains in hospital at this time.
There is currently only a limited description of the offenders. They are described as a group of young males.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Gavin Stiles, based at Reading police station, said: “I understand that this offence will have caused concern in the community, but I would like to reassure people that we believe this to be an isolated incident.
“I would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed this, or has any information relating to it, to come forward.
