Appeal for witnesses following serious injury collision – High Wycombe

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision in High Wycombe that injured two people.

At around 10pm yesterday (11/3), a red Toyota Prius, which was travelling along Mill End Road, was involved in a collision with two pedestrians.

The two pedestrians, a 30-year-old man and a nine-year-old boy, were taken to hospital where they remain.

The vehicle did not stop at the scene and officers are trying to establish who was driving.

Investigating officer, PC Tom Smith, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, based at Amersham, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“I would also urge anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to check any dash-cam footage.

“Anyone with information can contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference ‘43190110455’ or make a report online.

“Alternatively, you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
