Appeal for witnesses to fatal collision – Gerrards Cross

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Gerrards Cross.

At around 7pm yesterday (5/12) Thames Valley Police was called to Hedgerley Lane, following a single vehicle collision.

A silver Volkswagen Polo had collided with a tree.

A 64-year-old man from Gerrards Cross died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Tony Jenkins, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Three Mile Cross, said: “Very sadly a man in his sixties died in this collision and an investigation has started to establish the circumstances.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the vehicle travelling on Hedgerley Lane is asked to come forward.

“Also if you have dash-cam footage please contact police.”
