Thames Valley Police is releasing two CCTV images following a theft in Chesham.

Between 12.30pm and 1pm on Friday 7 December 2018, the victim, a woman in her eighties, visited Nationwide on The Broadway in Chesham. She withdrew a large amount of cash and placed it into her bag.

She then left the bank and went along the High Street to Godden Butchers, where she realised that the cash had been taken from her bag.

Investigating officer PC Patrycja Lesiakowska, based at Amersham police station, said: “I am releasing these two images as I believe the individuals might be able to provide information that could prove essential to this investigation.

“The money withdrawn by the victim was intended for Christmas presents for her family and the incident understandably left her shaken.
