Man charged in connection with attempted murder – Slough

Thames Valley Police has charged a man in connection with an attempted murder incident in Slough.

Yasir Mohammed, aged 22, of Monksfield Way, Slough, was charged with one count of Section 18 wounding with intent, and one count of violent disorder on Wednesday (15/5).

The charge is in connection with an incident of attempted murder in a car park off Farnham Road on Tuesday (14/5), when an altercation between a group of people resulted in a 21-year-old victim sustaining a head injury.

The victim remains in hospital in a life threatening condition.

Mohammed appeared in Slough Magistrates’ Court today (16/5) and was remanded into custody.

A 23-year-old man from Slough was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder on Tuesday (16/5) and has been released on police bail.

A 26-year-old woman from Slough, and two men aged 18 and 24 from Slough, who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday (16/5) have been released on police bail.

A 21-year-old man from Slough was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder today (16/5) and is in police custody.

A 20-year-old man from Slough who had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday (16/5) has been released with no further action.
