Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, two men have been charged with burglary and drug offences.
Luke How, aged 25, of no fixed abode, has been charged with burglary dwelling and theft, burglary non dwelling, possession of Class B drugs and two counts of criminal damage to custody cells.
Jamie Lee Smart, aged 22, of no fixed abode has been charged with burglary dwelling and theft and burglary non dwelling.
The charges relate to incidents on Thursday (9/5), when a property in Crocus Way, Wokingham was burgled and two vehicles were stolen, then later a Morrison’s petrol station in Basingstoke Road, Reading was also burgled.
Then on Friday (10/5), two cells at Loddon Valley Police Custody were damaged.
Both men have been remanded into custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on 17 June.
