Witness appeal following assault – Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Oxford.

At around 1.30am on Sunday 28 October, the victim, a 29-year-old man, was walking into The Baron, Cowley Road when he was punched in the face by a man, causing him to fall to the floor.

The victim sustained a broken nose and a gash below his right eye that required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.

The offender is described as a white man, approximately 5ft 8ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black puffa-style jacket.

Investigating officer PC Michaela Churchill, of the Oxford Investigation Hub, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw the incident.
