Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a woman has been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) in Bicester.
Tanya Thomson, aged 38 of Ruskin Walk, Bicester, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday (8/7).
The CBO was granted as a result of repeatedly breaching a Cherwell Crime Partnership Exclusion not to enter specific shops in Bicester and for attempting to steal goods whilst this exclusion was in place.
The CBO, which is in place for two years, prohibits Tanya from entering any shop in Bicester who is a member of the Cherwell Crime Partnership and any shop that resides in the town centre, including all shops on Sheep Street, Pioneer Square and Crown Walk.
The CBO also prohibits Tanya to be with two or more people on Sheep Street.
Neighbourhood officer PC David Scott said: “We recognise the impact this behaviour has had on local businesses.
“This is a good result and with the support of local businesses and members of the community this demonstrates that crime will not be tolerated in Bicester town centre.”
